Filler Light, Camera, Key Light
The key light, as the name suggests, is usually the brightest and most influential.
The backlight helps capture the effect of the key light, thus making the figure look more ’rounded’.
The filler light helps to soften the harsh shadows created by the use of the back and key lights. There may be more than one of these.
lighting helps create the scene.

Horror – the back camera shows you cannot see the persons face. Also the lighting is dark.
1920s beauty – Her makeup and sad facial expression shows she could be going to a funeral.
artificial intelligence – The fine blue lines could suggest action.
sci-fi – could be going into a different universe or era.
sadness lighting – The empty room could show somebody who’s no longer around sat on that chair a lot.
film noir – could be like James Bond, protecting a woman from the villains. weapons involved.
world leader – might be determined to save the people who look up to him. Doing anything to be successful such as fighting the enemies.
the interrogator lighting – could be a heist, a man might be planning to rob a bank.
angel lighting – they are different because the first picture is dark and the 2nd picture is bright. The girl might be on a mission to save others. The boy could be out on a walk as he is looking for something.
